My purpose, my passion

Hi there!

It’s rare to find someone who was born and raised in Darwin NT, I am one of the lucky ones that can say I am. Knowing and understanding this beautiful landscape that surrounds us here in the Territory has inspired and complemented so much of my work. I am authentic, and true to myself. I like to go against the grain, I am a radical dreamer, the light bringer and creator. I’m a lover of nature and kind people.

I’m very blessed with my life partner of 20 years strong and have two beautiful daughters. When I’m not clicking the camera, you would probably find me outdoors camping, fishing, golfing or meditating.

Growing up watching my mother and her love as a hobby photographer sparked my interest. The pure joy it would bring her. I always remember this image exciting her the most, now I know why… it's timeless!

I was intrigued but never imagined it could turn into my full time career.

The overwhelming joy I feel while creating my artwork documenting your story, sets off this flutter of butterflies throughout my soul. To know I can capture this one, so very special moment for you the client to take home and share with family and friends for generations to come is a really uplifting feeling.

Changing gears

I bravely entered the unknown world of photography over a decade ago after having felt the sting of disappointment due to a bad photography experience at my own wedding, right here in Darwin. I want to give others what I didn’t have on my wedding day and that’s an amazing, organized experience with beautiful images to prove it.

Over the years being one of Darwin’s leading wedding photographers capturing over 200 weddings, I found myself expanding, photographing families, corporate, christenings, Maternity, working with local magazines and flying to remote destinations capturing new developments.

I feel very blessed for the path photography has taken me and for the stories I have had the privilege to document for clients over the years.

Into the future

Now offering Underwater and Studio portraits gives us all the true freedom to create a timeless masterpiece unlike any other that will take your breath away.

I am passionate about what I do and pride myself on seizing those priceless moments and creating unique images that will make you smile and most likely cry (happy tears).
